With only two games left in the season, the girls volleyball team could potentially tie up their record for their amount of wins.

The team started their season off fairly well with a win streak of 7 games, but unfortunately lost 6 games in a row. Now the Lancers are close to tying up their wins and loses with their record being 13 wins, and 15 loses.

With only 2 games left, the girls are focused on hard work in order to end their season on a good note and to send their seniors off.

The team had recently celebrated senior night to commemorate all 8 seniors: Daeja Anderson, Kamila Bartnik, Melina Colucci, Sofia Vallone, Natalie Graetz, Katie Kubalewski, Ally Schellinger, Lauren Schewede.

At Senior night, the underclassmen decorated the gym and put up pictures of the seniors to honor their achievements over the last few years. Also a few individuals wrote letters to the seniors thanking them for all their hard work. Seniors were announced, and walked down with their parents as a way to spotlight their hard work over the past 4 years.

Leaving the varsity with only 9 open spots for next year, the JV players are planning on stepping up their game in order get on Varsity.

Junior, Paulina Czupryna says “ I plan to practice and condition in order to get on varsity for my senior year. I hope the program continues to the thrive throughout this season and hopefully next year as well.”

The girls have been working and it’s evident. With their hard work and determination, the girls will succeed over these last few games. We’re wishing best of luck to the teams for seasons to come!
